Cyber Application Team
The Cyber Application Team (CAT) supports application teams that onboard to Platform One (P1) via Party Bus and are looking for an expedited path to build and deploy their application securely to a DoD environment.
CAT will onboard application teams using the Path-to-CtF process. Once onboarded, CAT will provide recommendations to the P1 Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). The P1 CISO will make the final decision to approve each application's CtF and pass the application to P1’s Mission Application Team for deployment.
Who Can Benefit From CAT?
Any application team wanting to build their application, go through the CI/CD pipeline offered by the P1 cATO and wanting to deploy traditionally to P1 ATO’d environments are within scope of CAT.
Technical Anchor (Scott Sievers) works with the product teams to ensure consistent alignment to critical initiatives; also supports cross-value stream coordination with critical dependencies or technical initiatives. Technical decisions spanning multiple product teams are confirmed by the CAT Anchor.
